Do I need a Working With Children Check?

While not all organisers require one, it is worth applying and enjoying the flexibility of volunteering for more causes

Some organisers require participants to have a valid Working With Children Check, some are satisfied if you can show you’ve applied for one and it is being processed (eg your application receipt email). Some don’t at all, but state governments are increasing requirements, so it is worth applying.
Having a valid check provides you with the flexibility to volunteer on for more causes; processing times for applications can vary, so it’s worth commencing an application today.
